to the website of Karen Casper, UK Textile Artist & Designer.    Karen produces innovative beautiful tactile pieces of work who does not particularly lean towards one technique, but enjoys and thrives on working with mixed media.  Techniques include devore, quilting, embroidery, print,  fabric manipulation and embellishment to produce fine art pieces and commerical items, ensuring to retain the uniqueness.  Using traditional textile techniques and vintage aesthetics Karen injects contemporary technology producing innovative futuristic pieces that ultimately creates an art and fashion crossover.

In addition to the Fashion Editorial and exhibition work Karen also creates handmade bespoke embroidered headpieces for that special occassion whether that be a wedding, christening, races etc.  Each headpiece is unique incorporating vintage lace elements and hand dyed to co-ordinate with an outfit.
